Every year I go back to the San Juan to see family, reconnect with the land + see friends. Often times I’ll bring work to shoot there as I really need to get recharged to my roots on the island so I can bring that fresh tropical inspiration back to my shoots in San Diego. This trip to Puerto Rico, I stayed with my dear friends at the Dreamcatcher. They have expanded exponentially since I last worked with them, so it was lovely to see all of the new locations around San Juan alone.

Their newest property is called MARU, located just off Calle Loiza in Santurce. Let me tell you, the location could not have been better. Easy to park, across from the grocery store, walking distance to all bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Just a quick uber or drive to Old San Juan or Pinones for the nice, private beaches. I highly suggest staying at any of the Dreamers Welcome properties. They all have a cool aesthetic, so your travel pics and story posts during your stay will be next level.
